A hub for the many restless beings who want to turn up the volume on poverty, injustice, persecution and the unheard voices around the world

The Big Ten Challenge Success!

The Big Ten Challenge As we operate on a 0% administration costs ethos and do not have any major sponsors, we relied and still rely solely on your kind donations. The Big Ten Challenge is a crucial stage in ensuring work can begin on the Restless Beings Rehab Centre & Home, and the children can finally move in. And so, with a huge smile on the faces of every Restless Beings team member who have worked hard to raise awareness for this challenge and to attract donations, we can now announce that we have reached the Big Ten Thousand pounds mark!

We are delighted and pleasantly surprised at the speed in which we have reached this and would like to take this opportunity, to thank everyone who has helped us in reaching this target and to everyone who has kindly opened their eyes, hearts, wallets and purses towards this project and the children who are at the centre of it. We truly appreciate your generosity and without it, work on the rehab centre would have started later in the future which would have meant the children spend more nights sleeping on the streets and placing themselves in vulnerable situations. As this is a very important challenge for us, we will be placing a plaque/wall with the names of every individual who has donated to this challenge just as our little way of saying thank you and putting your mark on the new home for these children, to which you have contributed to. So THANK YOU!!!

The hard work is not yet over. Work on the property will begin this Christmas and we will be informing you all with frequent updates on the progress of the exterior and interior work. Over the next few months, the RestlessBeings team will be holding events throughout the country to raise awareness and funds for this project as well as asking you to continue with your generosity by making monthly donations from as little as £1.00 to as much as you like because this is the key to ensuring the RestlessBeings Rehab Centre & Home is sustainable and the children do not return to the streets. Collectively we can make this difference and in the process of it, we can also turn up the volume to their unheard cries so the future generations to come will prevent such struggles from ever existing in the lives of such young people. We have done it with the Big Ten Challenge, lets continue so we can really change things around - permanently.
